Parts for and old Evinrude

I have a 1970 60 hp evinrude triumph. I need to find a replacement switch. The one where you push the button to go from drive to netrual to reverse. Is there any way to bypass or build a new one.<br />Thanks

Hi Mike<br /> Look around, try to find the correct switch. Failing that do a search on this board. There are several articals written on this subject. I personaly have never tried any of the ideas, but I don't see why they wouldn't work.

well i changed the starter selinod still nothing happens. I jumped across the selinod and it will start but its in gear. so I am guessing that the swicth is bad because I can not get it in to neutral
