I just bought a 1977 Thunderbird Signa 18. I need some parts for it. I have a complete boat with engine and outdrive. I need the complete from assembly for the Select-trim. I have the pump but nothing else. I also want to convert it from points to electronic ignition. I am have the outdrive resealed and a new water pump installed. Any help would be appreciated.

Roadrager50, Iboats has some of the things you are looking for, also fleabay is another great place to browse for boating needs.
If you do not have a manual, it would be in your best interest to get one as they are a great tool for service, and repair.

I have all three manuals but I have found most of the things I need. I bought the boat for a good price so I want to get it up and running. Thanks for the advice.

Parts for your selectrim are gonna' be salvage searches. Motors are probably available new and used, or have your current units rebuilt. As far as pumps and hardware - start watchin' eBay / look for donor boats / contact salvage yards.

They're out there, just gotta' look for 'em.

Okay guys thanks for all the help. I called around to salvage yards and they all pretty well told me that it would simpler to just put stiff mounts all around. I already have them in and they look pretty good, once I get everything back together I am going to get in the water and do some adjusting.
