Re: Parts For Sale Section

There isn't any forum for sale items, but there is a boat classifieds section with different topics, not sure how it works. Will move this to the Dockside chat, perhaps they can help you better there.

Yep. That would be taking money out of iboats pocket. They are not a charity, they are a business.

Ya gotta respect the way they run these forums. It IS their forum, after all. Even if I wonder about some of their practices lately..... I still support them.

Re: Parts For Sale Section

I support them too Mark. If they have something I need, I buy it here, or at least I did. Someone selling an old prop or used lower unit would hardly take anything away from iboats. If they are looking for used parts, iboats will not get the business either way. I don't think it would take away iboats share of selling new parts as they always have. I said in another post that there should be a section where only used parts were sold. This section could be monitored by a moderator just as other sites do with no problems. I'm beginning to wonder where the forums are going too. Some major members have taken off for reasons I think you and I both know. It's sad to see this happening....

Like SBN said, the "Thrifties" section has been there forever but nobody uses it. It is for someone selling parts or other stuff and keeping it off of the board.

corvetteforum.com also is a business and they have a parts for sale section and it is a great place to buy and sell stuff. The sense of community on the site leads people to sell good stuff really cheap in order to help out other members. I don't see how it would take money away from iboats, they are not selling used parts anyway.

No sir, but you can post your used parts in the thrifty section.
