Parts list

I have a 1990 Starcraft heritage 1901 that I'm fixing a few things on. I'm pretty new to boats, we had the boat out a few times over the last few years but we live in southern AZ so not many people I know have boats and there are very few shops for parts. Is there a list of parts anywhere that I can use to look up replacement parts? I've been a car mechanic for years so I can do most of the work I just need to know which parts to get.

The main thing for me right now is the throttle control is really lose and there is nothing really stopping it from doing straight from foward into reverse gears. The last few years we were just careful with it but it seems like an issue waiting to happen.

there are parts diagrams for your controls, as well as the driveline. beyond that, no

look at your control binnacle, get a model number off of it, and use google.

That's your best start, or at least armed with a model# and perhaps some pics of you controls asking down in the Mercruiser section may yield you some better results.

Thanks for the help guys. I don't see a model number or anything on my controls. It might have been on the part that's missing that looks like it was some kind of cover.

Here's a few pics.

Id like to try and get something new if that's possible. I'm not sure how close a control needs to be in design to work.

Would something like this work?

Or is there another new control that you guys know of that would work. I don't mind paying a little more for a new one.
