PARTS ON JOHNSON

I found the parts number to the parts I need. It seems that the numbers have been changed to a 18-xxxx number. The numbers I got from the JOHNSON.COM site is 392635 (impeller repair kit).. is there a area I can identify the new numbers on all the parts? (johnson (ob) 1983 50hp)<br /><br /><br />Thanks in Adance...<br />Joe

Hi there are three companies numbers to chose from First is original part# BMC-0777129 about 18.50 than DMS-47-01920 17.25 and than sierra part number 18-3055 at 15.00 dollars.your number didn't provive any help I looked up the year and HP on all three modles that year thy were all the same.<br />steve

The 18-xxxx numbers are numbers for aftermarket parts sold by Sierra Marine. They're not dealer parts.<br /><br />Parts sold by Johnson/Evinrude suppliers are original equipment parts. Two different animals.

Thanks... Is there a difference in the parts I use if all three companies make the same part.. is there one better then another? Any preference? I'm relacing: water pump kit and thermostat kit.<br /><br />more info: (sorry) JOHNSON (OB) 50 HP 1983 MODEL #J50BELCTA

JOE05 the part numbers I gave you are for the impeller only! Any marina shop will give you the kit for you motor. about 39.00 bucks
