Parts swap question

I have a 93' 115. Will parts from a 78 115 interchange with my motor. I can purchase a complete motor for parts for around 200 and would be good to have spare parts. Any help is appreciated.

You could go to the parts website and cross check some of the major part numbers and see if they will interchange.
