Several places on my hull have been damaged due to beaching. I can safely say that it's my fault and its the previous owners fault. With that being said, I want to make the repair and have been debating what should be done. The damaged sections are not very deep, maybe 1/8" at most and up and down the keel. I've read that Marine Trex (sp?) is a good solution for this repair, would glassing it be another option as well? My goal for this up comming winter is to sand down the hull and paint it, so I figure that at a minimum a quick patch is necessary.

A better description is that the damaged areas are in spots near the keel, roughly 6 diameter, 1/8" deep. In addition the gel coat & some fiberglass has been worn down along the keel.

There's different ways to do it depending on the damage. If you could post some pics I think you'll get some good advice from the guys here.
