I just lucked out and purchased a model/year specific factory manual for my '67 Rude 40, took a while but now I won't be quite so much in the dark.

I have been watching Ebay for some time now. Finally got lucky. Got it from http://stores.ebay.com/TRACTOR-MANUALS-Ford-New-Holland
