I have a 1996 4hp evinrude mdl# E4rled and it starts fine pumps water well but after warmed up the pee stream is luke-warm to warm while the water in the barrel is cold. Is there a t-stat on this little motor? or is this normal temp for the pee stream
Thanks

Totally normal. The motor is heating the water inside it and that's OK, (especially in a barrel)

Thats how the excess heat the motor generates is shed.

The water absorbs the excess heat and is expelled from the motor. Thus, the water being expelled should be warmer than the water being sucked in.
