Problem is my manual shows a fill screw in middle of of the outdrive which i do not have, and on top just the dip stick. Do i fill threw the dipstick ? im assumeing no from what i read but no clue where else to fill. help please

No, not through the dipstick, you never would get it full.
A couple of ways to fill the drive.
1. Fill from the bottom with a pump.
2. Fill from the fill hole above the shift mechanism.
I made a funnel out of a fitting that fit the threads. (not tight it doesn't have to seal) a couple of small pieces of hose, a funnel and an elbow that will fit the hose. Shaped like the picture below. Then just pour the oil in, (2.5 to 3 quarts) give it plenty of time to settle so it shows properly on the dipstick.
This is done with the drive down and level.
