Once again, if America is made out to be bad by the left, then America loses power and influence. Once the WBW's of this country accomplish that, the hope is that his leftwing whacko compatriots can step in to pick up the pieces and reconstruct them in a little closer image of Lenin.

The Left's aim is that they be the 'end all' and 'be all'. Until they succeed in turning this country into a depraved, balkanized, weak, spiritless bowl of jelly, they cannot achieve this.

Believe it or not,but this in fact is a good sign.This means that Iran is completely dependent on the USA to keep its aging tomcats in the sky.It also means that we have complete control over the quality of the weapons delivery systems that the Iranians are getting.
Please do not underestimate our DIA and CIA to the point where they do not know exactly where and what the Iranians are buying and you can believe me that they are not getting the real good stuff.

I think the big difference pointed out by the article is Bush's declaration of Iran a charter member of the Axis of Evil, still the problem persists under his watch. But this article doesn't just blast Bush. It's main target is the Pentagon. The kicker is the same lot of merchnadise sold during Clinton's watch was confiscated and then resold under Bush's watch. It's an equal opportunity scandal. One that clearly needs to be attended to.

That's a very harsh statement, for a president of our country, and if your a patrioct person it might lead you to some very heightend emotion's.

Taken into account the time line of the report id say flagrant, and perhap's such a flagrant statement need's a sharp response......kinda of like accountabiltiy.

Yesterday i watched Barbra B. make a commentary to Conda R. It was so abrasive and unfounded i find it hard to believe this person is the leader of a american instituion, It was a attack.......a personal attack and any person who distort's and attack's should be held to some kind of accountablity if there is no foundation. Dude watch the most current event's in the middle east, there are new allies being formed and yes new Axis's of evil.........Notice the big mouth Korean has been spanked by China.......... there world is getting much smaller and far less place's to hide.

Good point rolmops, but this whole F14 thing is really a non-issue.... they only have 50 of them, they are poorly maintained, and if they can get them off the ground they don't have any Air to air missiles for them.... guns only. They would be like shooting down practice drones.

The whole Iranian Air force is a joke, they have 6 Mig-29's, 35 F-7m's, and 30 SU-24's.... everything else in the inventory are most likely Hanger Queens.

My guess is we could take total air superiority in about 2 hrs. with just 1 Carrier Group.... that is if they were foolish enough to send them up in the first place.

I read the article and tried to subtract the spin. What it all boils down to is the fact that there are disreputable companies out there that will do anything for a buck. Iran has tried and been thwarted at all most every turn, and the US Customs are doing their jobs.

Of the 76,000 parts for the F-14, 60 percent are "general hardware" such as nuts and bolts and can be sold to the public without restriction, Baillie said. About 10,000 are unique to Tomcats and will be destroyed.

An additional 23,000 parts are valuable for military and commercial use and are being studied to see whether they can be sold, Baillie said.
