Performance Enhancements - Yamaha XL760?

Hi,
I bought a used Yamaha 1999 XL760 Waverunner last year. It is stock and top speed is about 43 MPH. Are there any performance enhancements that I can make that will increase the top end speed? A Solas Impeller was my first thought but I wasn't sure how much of a difference it would make for the cost.

be sure the pump liner and impeller are good,, usually they loose top speed if the liner is going bad or the impeller is bad.

Ok, I'll check it out. The machine has only 100 hours. Does anyone know what top speed is for this? 43 MPH could be normal and if so, I just want to see if there is any enhancements I can make to speed it up.

had a gp760, which is a 2 seater, ran about 52-55. i would think you would run a little faster, but your hull does weigh more. maybe a new impellor?
