Perhaps buying a late '70s 55hp

Looking at a boat with a late 70's 55hp sometime over the weekend. Anything I should be looking out for particular to this motor?

the typical, compression, spark, lower oil. start on muffs, or test run. cracked or discolored coils. marks on head bolts, and others, tale tell, that it has been into. find out why.

Marks on bolts - check. That's a good one. I'm used to dealing with antique landlubber engines and you _never_ find those w/o marks on the bolts.
