Perma-seal Gimbal Bearing?

I recently ordered transom seal kit (bellows, gimal bearing, etc.) with all Mercruiser brand parts. The gimbal bearing that came with the kit does not have a grease hole through the outer race. I called the vendor and he told me that the new bearings are perma-seal type and require no grease. I trust the vendor but I was wondering if anyone else found this?

Same here! Apparently the OEM bearings do not need to be greased.
