I've owned several J-series Carolina Skiffs, and I thought I would give the JV model a try. Well, I just brought it home today so I can't give a report on how it runs, but I really like the build quality on this boat. It's much better finished than my J boats and I really like the design (sort of a Boston Whaler copy). I actually special-ordered this one with no electronics installed, and they gave me the accessories with the boat separately. The boat costs $2400 new, including taxes, out the door. I have a new Yamaha 2-stroke 15hp I'll be using with it.
