Ok well I am new to I/O boats and did not properly winterize my motor this year. It froze and the block cracked, the crack is visible. The boat has 1971 (165 hp 4.1L 250 6 cyl.)

I recently purchased a new boat with the same motor but it is a 1975 (165 hp 4.1L 250 6 cyl.). I have to get rid of the boat with the cracked block. I want to salvage any usable parts off of it before I get rid of it. Of course I will pull the outdrive, tilt trim pump, alternator, starter but wonder if there are any other parts that i can salvage?

I do not have an engine hoist so it will be a part at a time... What do you guys think?

yeah, take it apart piece by piece. everything on a boat is extra. cleats, snaps, windshields, lighting, seats, gauges, on and on. the boat is hull only.
don't forget the transom assembly, the exhaust pipe, the steering arm which i think is nla, the shift interrupt sw. is nla, i'd grab all of it. specially if ya got another 165 L6... much will be applicable to the new boat.

Take everything. I stripped my old boat in 1 day. A couple of neighbors (enticed over by free beer) helped remove the engine block... 2- 2x4's bolted on where the head used to be made lifting the engine a piece of cake. The only thing left on my old hull was the bow eye and steering which I didn't want. $40 to the land fill and the hull was history.
