Hi everyone,

Just took off my heads on 1995 88Spl as part of maint and checkout. I've only seen a couple pics of these and not sure what they are supposed to look like when good. It appears squashed, and elongated. I'm going to swap em out anyway, but curious if others "in the know" can say definitively if they are bad. Does anyone have a pic of what good ones should look like??

Thanks

Here is a pic of my Johnson 88 SPL with new deflector tubes. The old ones were flattened like yours.

Those are very bad, another 1/2 a millimeter and those will block water flow. Replace em, and i would guess the other head is just as bad, replace those too.
