picture posting problems!!!

having trouble getting pics to post. If you check out my other post "Archery hunters have any luck" you will see that you have to go the long way to see the pic.<br /><br />when using the image button, it just shows the box with red x in it, when using the url button it will say page does not exist.<br /><br />but if you just copy and paste the address, it will go to the webpage. Any suggestions. I use yahoogeocities for the web hosting, never had any problems.

Don't know unless geocities don't allow it.<br />A lot of places will just let you link to them and post from them. Bandwidth cost or something.<br />Thats why I use angelfire webshell. Just webshell and not their email.<br />But heres the pic.<br />

yeh i read that it might be that you can not link to the page from a forum, that might be it. will look into the angelfire.<br /><br />but you can access my homepage from the little icon above my posts though.

wikelam, I've been using villagephotos for about a year and haven't had any problem linking. It allows 5 megs of space and I have 21 pics on it now and have only used a small percentage of it. <br /><br />Here's the link web page

LF, the last one you tried did not work.<br />Wrong kind of image extension.<br /><br />This is what your photo's extension looks like.<br /> http://villagephotos.com/image.asp?id_=5422775&sessionkey=YGKDDNOGNNBELSVDAAAL <br /><br />notice no jpg, or gif at the end?<br />Has to be there or will not work.
