I once turned my white German Shepherd pink.

There was a skunk and tomato juice involved though.

I worked with a woman years ago that would dye both of her white cats for the holidays...... one red and one green....... it just humiliates the poor cats.

But Really... Is it gonna hurt the cat? Maybe his cat friends will laugh at him, Dr Doolittle are you out there ? if you think about it, I bet alot of us have seen a *****, cat dyed a different color. People dye thier hair all the time. Ive seen alot of dogs dyed the color of the owners Foot ball team. Especially with me good neighbors to the East. Go Pac !

I don't know how it could possibly humiliate the cat - it can't even see the color. They have VERY few cones to percieve colors.
As far as endangering the animal, moot point since food coloring was used.
No harm - no foul - she wants a pink cat, I say who gives a flip, she gets a pink cat!

Some place I have a newspaper clip, significant because it's one piece of newsprint with 2 stories on it.
1. Young girl gets off scott free after throwing her new born baby in the dumpster.
