used to black unburnt oil. but i got this pinkish creamy mess in the leg that turns red and leaks out of the weep holes hours after use. what causes this? not lower unit oil
all my premix motors drip a whiteish creamy mess, followed by the black mess. its unburnt oil/fuel. not sure about the color?did you change your oil brand, get fuel from a different spot?
This could be a pink bacteria growing in your leg. Do other boaters in your area also have this problem? The pink bacteria can be killed by flushing with muffs, with a chlorine injection system of some sort attached to the garden hose.
