i have always been curious, but i have a 96 proline cuddy fish with an I/O 5.7 L rated at 210hp. well if you lok on the placard, it says cuddy fish OB rated at 200 hp. what is wrong here? should a do anything to change this?

Your card says 200hp for an outboard motor, which puts a lot more strain on your transom.

Your I/O Motor puts the strain on the stringers mainly.

but why would it say the boat is an outboard boat??? is it the wrong card for the boat??

My guess would be it's the wrong card. From what I've seen, I/O's don't usually even list a max. HP number.
