1986 Monarch fish/ski 1986 Evinrude 90 hp outboard. A while back she would run fine then once in a while she would bogg down but never die. Here recently she will come up on plane then bogg down imediatly but never dies. I checked the bulb and it's full of fuel and tried squeezing it when it boggs down but its hard and full. I found a missing o ring where the fuel line clips on the motor so I'll try that next. Any other ideas to try?

Connect your fuel tank directly to the fuel pump(bypassing the fuel connectors)...if it runs better, then you've found the culprit.

There is no fuel pump in the tank, is it on the motor some where?

Just follow the line from the fuel connector at the engine...to the fuel pump.

I've had a kink in the gasline and had the same issues. Just because your bulb is tight doesn't meen the carbs are full of gas. If you have a 2 stroke like mine the fuel pump is mounted on the sided of your engine and you will see it ont he gasline just before the carburator(s). The fuel pump is actually a little diaphram that actuates using the negative and positive pressures from a piston. It's not like an electrical/mechanical motor or anything.
