There are 2 pieces of 1 1/4" - 1 3/4" plastic pipe fiberglassed into the underside of the transum behind the rear seat (but forward of the rear steps) Anyone know why they are there? I am thinking of taking them out to mount some braces for a ski pylon.

My '99 1750 has the same. I assumed they were for running the wiring harness through, but none of the wiring on my boat is laced through them. Maybe to have something to hook in to when they lift the finished hull/top out of the mould?

Other than that I have no clue....
