Where can I buy the rubber protective sheaths for wiring boats? I'm going to run a new tach wire since the old one is in bad shape (the rubber coating is chalky), and I don't want to have to 'fish' it through the old sheath since it's skin tight in there as it is. Any ideas? I'm going to need around 25 ft. of it at around a 1/4" - 3/8" I.D.. I'll zip tie it to the existing wiring that runs through the boat.

A buddy of mine mentioned regular water tubing, but it's not U.V. and oil / petroleum resistant.

I have used automotive vacume line in the past when I needed heavy protection for a wire being routed through parts of the hull where it might get nicked. It was not a lot of fun fishing it through but worked well for me.

The electrical dept of any Lowes, Home Depot, or other home improvement store has the black tubing used for that purpose. It's dirt cheap as well.
