Play in Steering at Idle 94 CC OMC 5.0

Seems to be a lot of play in steering at idle speeds. Much tighter when on plane. Is there a method for tightening up the steering?

Power steering fluid level is ok, and belt is tight.

Need new cable maybe? Rack and pinion steering?

Ayuh,....

It's quite Normal for V-hulls, powered by I/Os, to wander at trolling speeds,...

Called chining back and forth hard to keep going straight. I have that problem.

Did i not read the whole post or was it changed?

Thats something a set of trim tabs or Smart Tabs will solve...
Or get used to not over correcting when steering at low speed...
