Hi everyone, I'm looking into getting a fixer upper 1983 playcraft pontoon but am having trouble finding a HIN on the boat anywhere.
Does anyone have any idea where I could find the HIN on this boat?

Thanks, Timmy

They move that around, check inside and out on the front and rear set of brackets, both tubes, should be there somewhere.

Thanks,
I will look around the seats, but they are all just sitting there, there are no "seat brackets" I'll check the seats themselves a little closer.
This boat is in pretty good shape for its age so I'm thinking that maybe it has been redone before. I looked the toons over pretty good but haven't pulled the carpet up off of the top of the rear part of the toons to look under there.

Thanks again,
Timmy

I think he means brackets where the toons connect to the deck on the underside, not the seating area.

I looked at a couple that had it stamped into the beam. One of them had the beam replaced, but never transfered the HIN to the new beam. So, that may be your issue. You can buy number/letter stamps at harbor freight for cheap;)
