okay ive got a 1973 50hp mercury its pull start and i need to know how to wire a switch up to it to turn it on and off its distibutor type and also when i start the motor its revved way up even with the idle lever all the way down any ideas what could make it rev up like that on its own. I also had to adjust the time as the timing belt was changed and the p.o. didnt put it back in time right i lined the arrow on the distributor up with the mark on the flywheel is this correct?? thanks
