WELL FIRST OFF HELLO IM NEW TO THE BOARDS AND MY NAME IS JIMMY heres the long story short
~bought boat 1987 27' IMP merc 454
~sat for 3 years
~drained 80 gal of old gas out of her after i added 30+ gallons new ehhh
~took some fresh gas and sprayed the walls of the tank well the best i could through the sending unit hole and a small pump
~drained the rest of the crystleized icetea crap gas out of the tank through the pickup
~just got 40 gal fresh gas in there
~installed small inline clear fuel filter
~within 5 min of just ideling it clogs up with crystled garbage i definetly dont want to drain it again and waste another 100 dollars worth of gas what should i do
>get a bigger fuel filter if they even sell one and just run it for a day....
>keep what i got and clean it every 5 min till it clears up.....
>is there some additive i can put into the gas to disolve the garbage enough to pass through the filters w/o clogging them or ruining the motor?
