Hello All,
My friend and I bought a 70s ski boat that has a Mercruiser 165 I/O in it. It started up on ether and ran when parked last year after blowing the exhaust boot.
We have been looking for a couple of days to figure out what type of Galaxie boat we have, and what engine came in it originally, with no luck.
We have found some boats with similar looking hulls, but nothing exactly like ours. Also, our boat has a boarding/loading platform and a port-entry bow seating area. Nothing on google images is like this.
Another thing to note is that our boat has a Mercruiser 165. It looks like the fiberglass on top of the transom has been 'clearanced' to fit the exhaust manifold.
The trailer is a 1975.
Any help would be appreciated!
