I removed the lower unit on my boat to replace the water pump and now I can't get it back on. It gets about 1.5-2" from the exhaust housing and stops. I have tried turning the driveshaft, turning the shift rod slightly, and the water tube is lining up right. This is the first time and also the last time I will ever take the lower unit off-from now on it is going to the dealer. I would really appreciate some advice on getting everything put back together. This is really starting to **** me off. The motor is a 1985 evinrude 120hp V4. thanks
