Hi Guys! My mom died earlier this year and now I must get rid of a couple of strange boats she had. I'm at her place in another state otherwise I'd definitely keep at least one of them. I wonder if you could help me identify them.

The first one this super-robust, heavy & stocky john boat I would definitely keep for myself were it not so far from my home. It's about 200 pounds and I'd approximate it to be 4'6" by 9'6" long or so. If it has any markings I sure can't find them. It was used as a dredging boat:

The pic of it flat on the ground strangely makes it look skewed, but it is straight.

The second one is a peddle-driven pontoon boat that may have one belonged to a small resort a long time ago. It has a large "Kayot Pontoon Boats" logo on the rear, but in all my Google image searches, I haven't found a single image of anything it resembles. It is disassembled but comes with plywood standing platform, chain and steering wheel.

Here are pics:

I'd really appreciate any input!

Thanks guys!

Don't see that everyday :)

Both of them might be worth something to somebody.....

On the first, a dredging or salvage co. might be interested. Could make a decent dive/rescue platform. Or scrap it for quick cash.

The second, couldn't tell condition, might be a fixer-upper for the kiddies. Just don't expect a lot of interest this late in the season, it's more of a spring time seller.

IMHO, which is worth about what 'ya paid fer it :D
