I really badly need to know how to remove the prop from a Centurion Air Warrior-V drive boat. I have the cotter pin and nut removed but the prop will not come off. It seems to be a tapered shaft, what type of tool is required to get the prop off of the shaft??<br />Thanks

That prop is on a tapered shaft ,and lapped to fit it with no clearance. You will need a prop puller. Some marinas rent them, but if you have a need to change props often just order a puller .

Most tourniment boat dealers have or may even sell over the counter, a prop puller specific to your boat. You can also check with Overton's on line. I would buy the deluxe model puller. The cheaper one is just that, cheap !!!
