Please help on Choke Linkage 1983 25 hp Please!

I need help on the choke linkage of a Johnson 1983 25 hp J25TECTE. I just can't figure out how the springs go to the linkage to hold the choke open. My Factory OEM manual does not show how to reassemble the linkage on the choke. I should have taken pictures before rebuilding the carburetor. If ANYONE has pictures and information on this I will be most grateful. My adult word vocabulary was exhausted this afternoon on what appears to be a simple hook up I couldn't complete. Please help.
I can have pictures tomorrow. I couldn't transfer my files from my cell phone to my PC.

ok might not be exactly the same but there is a few vids on youtube showing the spring effort.

try this it just might help a touch with what you need to see.
i find its best to view it full page and just keep pausing it.
