I have a 1989 Larson Senza with a Chevy 350 260hp in her. I put the new engine in last fall. It has run flawless until now. I had it out on the river with a chopper prop installed. I ran with the bow up for sometime to get it to plane off. Once it planed off I was rolling along and the engine just died. I started it back up and let it idle for a bit. I went to take off again. Same thing, it died. Then it began getting harder to start. I tried again, same result. I got mad and idled back to shore and changed back to my other prop. Went out, ran fine for about 2 minutes then it died. Now it was really hard to start. I put it on the trailer and it ran like a dream again. It appears that it will idle all day. It has a Holley 4bbl and a Holley "red" electric pump. I changed the water/fuel sep. filter. I don't want to take it out and have the samething happen again so I need the pro's help. What is going on with this thing. Why is it dying and why the harder to start? Thanks for all the help.
