I have a Tracker 115 on a 98 nitro 700 lx (17'fiberglass). I called bass pro shops and ask them what the proper 4 blade prop to replace me 3x3-1/4x21 was and no one could tell me. I was hoping someone on here could help.

plexed, You wouldnt usually put a 4 blade prop on a boat like yours.I believe they are usually considered for pushing heavy loads and low end acceleration. What is it that you are trying to accomplish?

Re: Please Help with prop

We'll need more info to make an informed suggestion. What top RPM (with average load) can you achieve now? Do you have a jackplate? If so, manual or hydraulic? Whats your top water pressure?

Todays 4 blade props have tremondus lift and work well on pad bottom boats. The X dimension usually needs to be higher than the mounting holes alone will allow, thus the need for a jackplate.

Turbo has just released (Friday) a new design 3 blade for you motor. It also has enough bite that you will need to increase the X dimension. It's called a Lightning Jr.

BTW - it doesnt shock me that a sales shop didnt know a lot about props. You need a performance center most likely. Let me know if we can help.

Good luck!
