Re: Please Help with prop
We'll need more info to make an informed suggestion. What top RPM (with average load) can you achieve now? Do you have a jackplate? If so, manual or hydraulic? Whats your top water pressure?

Todays 4 blade props have tremondus lift and work well on pad bottom boats. The X dimension usually needs to be higher than the mounting holes alone will allow, thus the need for a jackplate.

Turbo has just released (Friday) a new design 3 blade for you motor. It also has enough bite that you will need to increase the X dimension. It's called a Lightning Jr.

BTW - it doesnt shock me that a sales shop didnt know a lot about props. You need a performance center most likely. Let me know if we can help.

Good luck!
