Please Help

Is there anyway to tighten up the clamp that holds the fuel line tight on the bottom carb without taking the carb off? I have a fuel leak there because the fuel line is loose.

Hey Gary,<br />Best to stick to one post rather than starting a new one to get an answer. I guess you're talking about the 'rude. If you've tried everything to get at that clamp & still can't get to it, you'll have to take the carb off. <br />Backlash

Thanks, yes I am talking about the 1974 evinrude 135hp. I finally got the clamp tightened but I still can't seem to make it run. Is that the fuel pump on the side where the fuel filter is? Is that all one unit? I do not think I am getting fuel to my carbs. I pump the primer bulb, but the fuel line leading to the top carb doesn't keep fuel in it. Than I came pump the bulb again but the fuel line doesn't fill up. I guess I will have to take it to the shop. I would really appreciate any help.<br />Thank You<br /> Gary
