1994 Johnson 150. 5 Cylinders 90 PSI. One Cylinder 105 PSI and the plug is extremely fouled! Oil is not delivered to each cylinder separately so why one cylinder? Changed plugs ( as I did at the start of the season ) and she runs much better! I don't want it to happen again. Could Startron Fuel additive cause it?

Could be a temp problem as engine running to cold....

How long did it take for that plug to get so fouled?...Do you pull and inspect/clean/replace plugs on a yearly basis?

Beware, OMC had some probs with those blocks back in those years with water getting into # 1 cyl due to a defective block. It usually took about 250-300 hrs for it to show up. Put a new plug in it and run it and see how long it takes to foul again. Keep us posted.

Water in #1 cylinder on a 60* motor, not unheard of for sure......not necessairly related to running hours but will show up sometimes after an overheat. Commonly refered to as a "glue seam leak" and has to do with how the foam was glued together in the lost foam casting process.
