All,

I purchased a set of 22" universal wires for my Mercury outboard. I chose this set because it was the only one that had the proper length. One end has the usual plug boot, while the other has http://www.iboats.com/Boat-Motor-Spark-Plug-Wire-Terminal-Sierra/dm/*******.043703134--session_id.351607817--view_id.173723 this.

Unfortunately, I need to adapt this to look like this http://www.iboats.com/mall/image/view/2/2/18-8819-1_2.jpg end.

I would just buy a set of these already made up, but I can't find a set that's around 22" long. Any ideas on how I can adapt my new plug wires with the threaded ends to match my original?

Thanks!

Those ends are easily installed or removed, the ones that you need just squeeze on. The angled end is the toughest, I spray the plug wire or down inside the cap with Fantastic spray cleaner to make it slippery. I made my own set after buying spark plug wire and getting ends from my father who rebuilds riding lawn mowers. Think outside the box and I bet you'll find what you need, do you have a tractor place close buy? Maybe even a NAPA auto parts store.
