Would a bicycle tire pump produce enough air to clean out the spedo pick-up on an Alpha I?

I would think so. Tricky part will be attaching the hose to the pump reliably.

Try a piece of wire to get all the junk moved first in the drive

If it were like my speedo then i had to put a drill in(very carefully),i used a tap wrench to remove garbage that had built up.
On one of my previous posts i had the size and depth that i went to .
Will search to find that post for you

Hello, Compressed air is very effective if you have access to it. Only takes a couple of PSI to blow the gunk out of it. If it's been sitting for a while you may need to use the wire as Rickles suggested. Some of that gunk may have hardened up. Good luck! ;)
