plywood floor

I would like to know is useing 1/2" birch plywood ok for the floor in my boat. I would be<br />fiberglassing it all in.

Can't comment on the type, but I'd think 1/2" might be a little thin. Of course, it depends on how much support is below (span between supports).

The way it looked like. They had 3/8" and the supports were about 12" apart. with form. Will birch be stroug enough.
