PM Notification?

At the top of my screen, it says that I have 1 notification. When I click on it, it tells me I have 1 unread private message. When I go to messages, I have none. I even tried deleting all messages, but it still tells me I have 1 message. What's up?

Check to see if it's a "Friend" request.

Nope, it says "1 Unread Private Messages"

Your messages folder says 1 message stored.
Maybe open it and if it is nor needed, delete it and see if that clears the flag.

Tim, I can't even see the message! The notification says there's one there, but I can find it in any folder!

I'm going to send you a test pm that you can delete. See if it might just be a glitch in the software somewhere.

Do you by any chance leave your computer on all the time? If so, you might want to re-start it and see if that cures the problem.

Thanks, Don. That fixed it. I saw your message and deleted it, now the notification area looks correct. I know it was a stupid problem, but it was really bugging me!

I understand completely.
With all the things that can happen in forum software, it surprises me that it works as well as it does.
