can anyone tell me the points gap and degrees before top dead centra setting for a johnson seahorse 4h.p model 4br71d serial number b11288

Mark.... If the cam that opens the points has a small mark on it that says "set", have the rubbing fiber portion of the points aligned with that mark and set the points to .020. If that mark on the cam does not exist, align the fiber portion up with the flywheel key when setting the points. There's no need to make it difficult going into the degree setup.
