I used Poli Gow on my boat yesterday and it looks great but it does not feel to slick kind of like a wax does.. That makes me wonder how long it will last. DO you think it would be ok it I put a Wax on top of the Poli Glow ? As of now the water does not roll off like it would like..
Any input is good input

Thanks Nathan

I'm with CC - never heard of it. Why did you use it in the first place? What are it's claims and what are it's ingredients?

I just went to the Poliglo website. Sounds like a truly wonderful product.
But a minimum of 5 coats? :(
I will just stick with once a year regular boat wax

I goes on real easy. I did the port side of my 23ft off shore cruser and it only took 2 hours. The the out come made it look like it was just pollished and waxed... but it feels and acts nothing like wax ..

Re: Poli-Gow & WAX

Poli Glow is a proven concept in boat polish and 'NOT' a wax. It is easily applied. It wipes on without the need for rubbing or buffing. It will not wash off with soap and water. And lasts for over 12 months!

I guess that's why it doesn't feel like it's been waxed. Probably more of a sealer type product....

Re: Poli-Gow & WAX

They used to make a product just like that for faded finishes on cars. From the description it sounds like the exact product.the big problem is once you apply it you must keep applying it.It will wear enevenly no matter how well you apply it.There will be shiny areas followed by dulling areas. It is practically impossible to remove all of it,so you are stuck with it forever.A product like this is usually used by shady used car dealers to make then cars look good for the short term but once you have it for a few months uh ooohhh.Charlie
