I have a 87' Seasquirt made by VIP boats with a 2011 Merc 4 stroke. I have a poling platform for it but was wanting to know the best way to mount it. The guy i spoke with at the marine store where i live said i had to use these toggle bolts but looking at the boat further i found that where i want to mount it is full of foam. The first 2-3 inches down is a really hard foam and then its like a spray foam. Could i just use some stainless screws with a wide thread? Thanks.
