I am pulling my boat out this weekend, to get the seats...and all the winter dust off of it. Last season I used toon brite cleaner to clean all the crap from them. I have some Toon Brite Alum. polish that I am think about using this spring on them. I've never polished the toons....and I know its going to be an all day thing. I have a 7inch polisher, I was curious should I buy a wool bonnit for it or use the standard teri cloth one? Thanks for any help.

I think the wool will give you a better finish, I know when I buff a car I prefer wool.

After yo get it done look into some Shark Hyde and you won't have to do this again for along time.

What is Shark Hyde and how easy is it to apply to the toons

Last season, I had them looking like a mirror and after one season, they look like the bottom of a dumpter

That is the probelm with polished tubes is tha they only look good for a short time but there are few things better looking than polished aluminum, did you know, polished aluminum is more reflective than a glass mirror?

Watched a show on aluminum and learned that, really suprised me.

The Shark hyde is a great product and as Lt Smash said it is super east to apply, you just use a rag and wipe it on, it is essencially clear coat for your tubes.

The only problem is if you dock the boat the bumpers will wear through it and that area won't be protected but if this is a trailer boat no worries.
