polishing tracker

I just bought a new 2014 bass tracker txw175 black. I am wondering does it pay to polish/wax the hull etc., and if so what is the nest product.

You shouldn't need to polish already, but IMO wax is a good idea.

Waxing the boat certainly won't hurt, but the wax doesn't stay long on the lower section of the hull when running in the water. It removed the wax in about two outings...

That stuff is only good for bare aluminum, not painted.

whoops... LOOOONG day at work... didn't catch that it was black.... yup only use it on bare metal....
