Polyurethane Topside Paint?

I have some West Marine SeaGloss Polyurethane Topside Paint left over from last season when I painted my boat. I left the paint in the shed over the winter and I guess it had to freeze a couple of times. Is this paint still OK to use or should I just buck up and by another quart?

Ive been involved with automotive paints for years, and all of them say to "Keep from freezing" on the can somewhere. Yep. Buck up!

Ahhhh - - the obvious would be to try some on a piece of scrap wood maybe.

Hi Mulv80
I live in Québec and god knows how cold it gets here during the winter. We don't even think twice about keeping any products.
If any type of paint, varnish etc freezes,
out it goes!! You don't want to take the chance.

I also painted my boat with Polyurethane paint.
How old is your paint job and how does it look?
I really hesitated between Gelcoat & Polyurethane.

Good luck

Thanks everyone, I guess I'll buy another quart.

Boat of Us, I used the Polyurethane to paint a little 14ft fiberglass boat that I use in saltwater. The paint held up well in its first season. My only complaint is that it is not as abrasion resitant as I would like but I think i would have the same complaint with other paints. I used West Marine Topside paint, the stuff was pretty cheap, I think on sale in ran around $21 a quart. It went on easy and produced a nice finish. I've seen here on a post a guy who used AwlGrip, It really looked great, but it is Expensive.
