pontoon bilge pump

have some minor leaks in my tubes. 10 gallons a day. so i want to leave it in the water for a while.

each tube has a drain plug, on the lower rear, of the tube. inserted a thread to slip, PVC adapter in drain. used 1/2 inch PVC tubing, up to the motor deck, for each tube, attached to a "Y" with shut offs, attached the "Y" to this pump. http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_16817_16817 then an overboard line. works great.

Instead of sucking water out, you could blow air in with this puppy:

Then you could open the drain valves at the back of the pontoons and have yourself a jet boat!

I'm kidding of course. That would be massive overkill.

tashasdaddy - Do you have any pictures of how this is rigged up? How does this work? Is the boat still in the water when you hook up the PVC tubing? Any more info you have woul dbe great. Thanks.

Sadly, tashasdaddy is no longer with us cobra. Are you having problems with leaky toons?

He passed away right before Christmas of this year, he is certainly missed.

I saw this thread post and thought I would click on it as it has been a while since I last saw a post from him.
I even had posted a question some time ago that I thought for sure he would post his usual honest and straight forward take it to the bank answer. I understand why.
