pontoon boat + speed+ clueless driver + sandbar = OUCH!
Last summer I was crabbing in the Assawoman Bay (Ocean City Md.) . I was in about 1 foot of water with my motor up on my jonboat and was netting crabs as I drifted across the sandbar. <br />I guess this guy with a crowd on a pontoon boat saw me reel in a fish and haul a$$ toward me like a bat out of hell. He had a passenger standing on the very front of his brandnew pontoon boat with its very large engine .He struck the sandbar and sent the guy flying then ran the boat over the poor guy .He was lucky - the motor was killed when it hit the sand.<br /><br />I cant get the image of that guy flying out of my head - too funny
