I have a 24' Pontoon with a Johnson 115hp carburated outboard. I believe the starter switch is bad because the engine turns over fine but there is no spark to the plugs. I think the kill switch somehow has shorted. I need to know which starter switch will replace that one. It has 6 wires on it. Any information will be appreciated on the switch or how to solve the starting issue (no spark at plugs).

First thing I would do is let us in what kind of motor it is, year and so on.
Then I would post the question in that engine section, since its not getting spark.
Then you bypass the kill switch to see if that is the problem or not. Just make a jumper wire to replace the switch.

I doubt seriously if the ignition switch is defective. Hopefully the problem is the kill switch but it may be the ignition module. But as previously stated, you should post this in the engine section.

You have made a very questionable assumption about the "no spark" issue. Ignition switches are rarely the cause of that. The ignition system itself is far more suspect. Also ensure the kill switch is working. It is easy to check -- disconnect it. Kill switches for two strokes short the ignition to ground to kill the engine.
